Crochet Club: An Anchored Sisterhood

Welcome, sisters! Our Crochet Club is a purposeful, all-women’s collective dedicated to the beautiful spirit of sharing, caring, and community. We gather in a cozy, warm environment to share deep conversation while crocheting high-quality garments, blankets, and comforting items for children in need. Whether you are a master crafter who can stitch with her eyes closed, or you have never held a crochet hook before in your life, your hands and your heart are welcome here. We will gladly teach you everything you need to know, stitch by stitch. 💝 Our Seasonal Giving Goal: Fall 2026 Project From September 24th through November 12th, our hands and hearts will be focused on a special mission. Every single item we lovingly create during these weeks will be directly donated to children in Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's to bring them warmth, comfort, and a reminder that they are loved. Whether you complete a full blanket or contribute a few rows to a group project, every loop counts toward brightening a child's stay. ⚓️ What to Expect at Our Gatherings 🧶 🌷 Cozy Atmosphere: Step into a peaceful, relaxing sanctuary designed entirely for women to unwind, decompress, and escape the rush of daily life. ☕ Warm Hospitality: Sit back and enjoy comfort in a cup. Hot tea, freshly brewed coffee, and light refreshments will always be lovingly served. 🙌 Purposeful Crafting: Every single loop we create carries a deeper meaning. For this upcoming session, 100% of our handmade items will be donated directly to the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. While our current hearts are set on wrapping these brave children in warmth, our future events will expand to support local shelters, hospitals, and neighboring families navigating difficult times. 🫶 True Community: This is more than just a hobby group. It is a safe harbor to anchor your heart, build authentic, lifelong friendships, and experience the collective joy of giving back. Event Information 📅 When: September 24 - November 14 - Every Thursday at 11:30 am - 1:30 pm & - Every Saturday at 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. 📍 Where: - Our First Session: Istanbul Cultural Center - Future Gatherings: A wandering cozy circle! During our first meetup, we will decide together as a group on the next welcoming spots to croche and chat—including local coffee shops, quiet library nooks, and hidden cozy corners across the community. 🧶 What to Bring: Just yourself! We happily provide all the yarn and crochet hooks you will need. However, feel free to bring your own favorite tools or specific yarns if you prefer. 💝 Who Can Join: Women of all ages and skill levels—from absolute beginners to seasoned pros!
