Crafting Comfort: Highlights from Our First Crochet Club Sessions!

Our hearts are full and our hooks are busy! This past week, the Istanbul Cultural Center officially launched its Crochet Club, bringing people together for our very first sessions on Thursday and Saturday. Under the shade of our outdoor tent, a wonderful group of creators gathered around the table to share cozy conversation, delicious treats, and the joy of handcrafting.

Whether untangling bright skeins of yarn or mastering a new stitch, everyone brought an incredible amount of warmth to the table. Our mission is simple but powerful: mending hearts and warming lives, one elegant stitch at a time. Every single hat, blanket, or scarf created by our club members will be donated directly to the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to bring comfort to children who need it most.
